The Lahaina Roads condominium heat pump system is a Colmac HPA4 unit with two 120 gallon storage tanks plumbed in series feeding a propane water for backup and for reheating the recirculated water. PV panels provide the heat pump with power, along with the rest of the common area equipment. The monitoring system allows us to set the controls correctly and sends us a txt message if the water temperature is too low.
